A GLOBAL COMMUNITY REDEFINING
HOW THE BUILT WORLD CONVENES

WHERE THE BUILT WORLD SETS ITS AGENDA

The Built Environment Forum (BEF) exists to accelerate progress in how we build, finance, and govern the physical world.

We convene small groups of decision-makers — builders, investors, policymakers, and technologists — in settings that foster trust and candor.‍

Each summit is a working retreat, and every retreat feeds back into the research, articles, and frameworks that shape the industry’s agenda.

OUR SUMMITS

The Jackson Hole Summit places senior leaders in the Tetons, where wide‑open landscapes and real wilderness shape the work. Focused morning sessions set the agenda. Time on the slopes and adventures in Yellowstone National Park strengthens the relationships. Jackson blends dramatic peaks, wildlife, and the quiet of the American West into a setting built for clarity, perspective, and real strategic focus.

The Montauk Summit brings senior leaders together on the Atlantic coast for focused dialogue on construction, real estate, infrastructure, capital, and policy. Morning sessions drive the work. Catamaran cocktail cruises and vineyard parties create the space where real relationships form. This retreat captures the industry’s pulse at the start of fall and sets the tone for the season ahead.

The Verbier Summit is where the Built Environment Forum was founded. It gathers executives in the Swiss Alps for candid conversations about the global built environment. Fast runs in the Four Valleys, daily après‑ski gatherings, and chalet dinners build trust quickly. This winter retreat gives founders, investors, policymakers, and industry leaders a clear view of the priorities shaping the year ahead.
